Kodiak is the off-road wheel designed to meet the technical requirements of the most demanding riders, especially in terms of comfort and grip. A racing rim that improves the wheel contact surface to the ground, guaranteeing superior comfort, grip and driving precision.
Hookless Profile: The Hookless profile improves the contact of the tire with the rim avoiding the bead breaker. Thus the tire shape results in a more stable and it improves its performance during use, allowing a more precise and safe ride. The design and method of manufacture, allows a lighter but more shock resistant structure. The rim design has been optimized for mounting latest generation of wide tires. From a structural point of view, these contribute to improve the couple rim tubeless/clincher even at lower pressures, avoiding unwanted deformations when bending, braking and in traction phase.
URSUS Kodiak Carbon Clincher MTB wheels feature full carbon rims with offset bulged spoke insertion points and provide excellent vertical compliance and reduced lateral play.
